Mykko - iOS & Android

BACKSTORY

Mykko is an app that provides location and category based offers and deals in Ecuador. Two applications was required to be created. First, a native application in Spanish to promote the offers. Second, an application that allows merchants to load up offers for their businesses. The merchant app is rewarded to those who buy website domains through WorkKey.

WHY WE DID IT

We were introduced to the client as a preferred VMob partner due to our experience implementing Plexure for other VMob customers. We wanted to help create an offers system for those who purchase website domains through WorkKey in Ecuador and help local businesses obtain a stronger online presence

HOW WE DID IT

Mykko was integrated with the VMob Plexure loyalty platform. Plexure is purposely built to handle the creation, distribution and management of loyalty based offers and deals.

Through the design process we outlined a procedure where users can easily search, browse, save, and redeem offers at local businesses.

Mykko was created to be on both iOS and Android mobile devices. Mobile devices are more common than desktops in Ecuador.

Android is the more common type of device in Ecuador so we made sure the consumer and merchant designs worked for both iOS and Android.

OUTCOME

We delivered an offer system that provides a two-way relationship. Firstly, it encourages consumers to shop at select merchants. Secondly, it helps increase foot-traffic for the merchants and for their newly acquired websites.
