Backstory

Fulton Hogan was on the lookout for a solution that allows both foremen and supervisors to easily record daily allocation and activity of resources in the field. This included managing labour, plant, materials, and sub-contractor services for a project or site, master data management, and generating daily daywork reports, claim sheets and monthly daywork summary claims.

Why we did it

We decided to help Fulton Hogan move this process to a digital space. We noticed that those in the field were having a hard time documenting physically with pen and paper. Shifting from physical forms to an app would give foremen the ability to manage resources without having to travel back and forth to offices.

The manager desktop allowed managers to easily view this data and manage reference data, materials, and more. Again, without having to travel back and forth.

How we did it

Site Diary Construction, or SDC, was born. Firstly, we created an iOS iPad app for the foremen of Fulton Hogan. Using the app, they can manage resources on the go.

Outcome

Foremen of Fulton Hogan, the revolution is taking place as we speak! Get your tablets, access your apps, synch your data, show them how it’s done.

  • iOS iPad
  • Sales Force Integration
  • Offline Sync - Works offline and Sync's when near a wifi connection
  • Real time reporting and progress graphs
  • Back office dashboard integration and collaboration with field teams
